What we look at instead: seam construction, because that is where water gets in long before fabric wets out. Bearing and bushing quality, because that is what turns a smooth machine into a squeaking one. Foam density, because that is what decides whether a shoe or a mat is still doing its job after 300 miles or 300 sessions.
And the warranty as written rather than as advertised — specifically what counts as normal wear, because that clause is where most claims die.
