Car kit has an unusual property: most of it sits unused for months and is then needed urgently, once, in the dark, in the rain. That changes what "good" means. A jump starter that tests well on a bench and holds no charge after six months in a glovebox is a bad jump starter, whatever the review said.
So the analyses here weight three things heavily. Behaviour after storage, because that is the state the product will actually be in. Heat tolerance, because a car interior in summer is a punishing environment for lithium cells and adhesives. And load ratings read as engineering limits rather than marketing numbers — particularly on anything that goes under a vehicle.
