This category carries a higher burden of proof than any other on the site, because the claims are about your body and the cost of being wrong is not just money.
Two things drive most of the disappointment here, and neither is quality. The first is sizing: an air purifier rated for a room half the size of yours, a blood pressure cuff too small for your arm, a pillow whose loft does not match how you sleep. Any of those makes an otherwise good product useless or actively misleading.
The second is the consumable. Filters, cuffs, cartridges and pads are where the long-run cost lives, and where a cheap purchase quietly becomes an expensive one.
